2010 Cadillac SRX is here to win all hearts

A complete makeover, that's what General Motors did with the redesigned 2010 Cadillac SRX to up the ante in the luxury midsize crossover segment. The stunning Cadillac SRX in its new incarnation would definitely force Lexus RX 350 to run for cover in the fiercely fought battle in the highly competitive crossover segment. The perfectly trimmed new SRX gains appropriate proportions with regard to height and width and has outdone its predecessor on every front. Aimed squarely at the priorities of luxury buyers, the five-passenger mid-size crossover is available in three trim levels: Luxury, Performance, and Premium. The boldness in SRX's design language spills over to the powertrain which offers high performance and excellent fuel economy. Offered in a choice of two high-tech six-cylinder engines, the 2010 Cadillac SRX comes in front-wheel-drive/all-wheel-drive chassis.

The 2010 SRX comes standard with a new, 265-horsepower 3.0-liter direct-injected V-6 engine that Cadillac expects to deliver 25 mpg on the highway (certified figures aren't available for this post) and about 18 mpg city. A new, 2.8L turbocharged V6 engine rated at 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque is optional. Both engines are mated to six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2010 Cadillac SRX features a bevy of advanced electronic features like a "pop-up" navigation screen featuring 3D imaging; adaptive forward lighting that swivels the headlamps in sync with vehicle steering; power lift gate with adjustable height setting and integrated hard disk drive for audio storage. Bluetooth compatibility is standard and OnStar's turn-by-turn navigation service is available.
