2012 New Cadillac SRX to be equipped with 3.6l V6 Engine!
Hendrick Cadillac, the leading Cadillac car dealer in Cary, North Carolina, has brought some amazing news for the enthusiasts who have been waiting for the new 2012 SRX. Cadillac has revealed that the new midsize crossover will flaunt a new, more powerful powertrain for 2012. The new vehicle would be powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 300 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. The powerful new V6 engine features direct injection. A six speed automatic transmission gearbox will be standard across the variants.
Hendrick Cadillac believes that the new 3.6-liter engine would give the SRX a more powerful stance without compromising the fuel economy of the car. Although the crossover has not been tested by the EPA, it is expected to return a mileage of 18/25 mpg.
Additionally, the 2012 Cadillac SRX gets a standard Bluetooth across the variant, which was earlier unavailable on the base front-wheel-drive model. A heated steering wheel is standard across all variants except the base model, relocated door lock switches and a new machined finish for the optional 20-inch alloy wheels.
The all new 2012 SRX will be available at the Hendrick Cadillac dealership in late summer. We will soon be announcing the prices of the new vehicle.
